The design for the proposed mosque is replacing the existing bungalow which was used as a mosque by the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community.
The new design incorporates two prayer halls, one at the lower ground floor level and one at ground level that will accommodate the members and allow for a multi-functional space. The design also provides accommodation to the first floor with a living room, kitchen and bedrooms.
The building is angled to point to Mecca and will have a feature dome and minarets to the central element that will be rendered with the remaining building to be brick.
It provides a large entrance area with amenities and has been designed to maximise parking to the site which reduces congestion at key times.
