The current building was dark and oppressive made up of small rooms to both floors, the brief was to create a reception area and meeting room to the ground floor and a modern open plan office space to the first floor.
The design retains much of the original buildings features including an exposed brick wall to the meeting room and opens up the first floor roof space using modern steel ties for structural support to form a vaulted room flooded with natural light.
