The project was to design an extension that could expand the existing small sitting room into a larger living space whilst retaining the character of the original house.
The extension created a dramatic double height space living area with a mezzanine off the existing bedroom giving a quiet contemplation area, offering views out onto the countryside. The lounge area has large bi-fold doors that now open up this room onto the outside space to engage with the existing garden.
